Arriving by Car

Hazlegrove sits directly off the A303 at the Sparkford roundabout, making it straightforward to find from any direction. Simply enter the school’s postcode, BA22 7JA, into your satnav for quick and easy navigation.
Our main entrance brings you straight onto the school grounds, where you will be greeted with clear signage and ample parking for visitors. 

The school benefits from excellent road links, with straightforward access from London (approximately two and a half hours), the South West, and major surrounding towns and cities.

Travelling by Train

Hazlegrove is well served by two mainline railway stations, both only 10–15 minutes from the school:

  • Castle Cary Station – with direct services from London Paddington in around 1 hour 40 minutes. 
  • Sherborne Station – with direct services from London Waterloo in approximately 2 hours 15 minutes. 

These routes make train travel an excellent option for families visiting from London and the South East. Both stations have taxis available.

Air Travel and International Links

Hazlegrove is also very well connected for domestic and international flights:

  • Bristol Airport is the closest major airport and can be reached by car in just over an hour, providing a wide range of UK and international routes. Several direct and combination public‑transport options are also available for those travelling without a car.
  • Heathrow Airport is approximately two and a half hours from the school, offering excellent global connectivity for international families and visitors. 
  • Additional nearby airports include Exeter and Bournemouth, both providing further convenient travel options for UK and overseas arrivals.
