Chef
Full-Time, Permanent, Term-Time Only
Hazlegrove School is looking for a Chef to join our professional catering team. Working in a fast-paced environment, using locally sourced ingredients and cooking a variety of cuisines, the roles offer scope to develop and progress. Experience is ideal but not essential. Appropriate support and training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be able to support the day-to-day management of the operation, working closely alongside the Head Chef and Catering manager. A passion for preparing fresh food from scratch is a must. You will have responsibility for all aspects of catering including maintaining the highest of standards, health & safety and motivating the kitchen staff to achieve their targets during their shifts.
This role is 40 hours per week during term time (35 weeks including 23 weekends) working 5 days out of 7, so flexibility is key. The salary is competitive, dependent on skills and experience.
