Pre-Prep Nursery Practitioner – Part Time, Fixed Term Contract
We are looking to appoint a Part-Time Pre-Prep Nursery Practitioner to start in January 2026. To work Wednesdays and Thursdays 8am – 4pm or 8.30am - 4.30pm on a fixed term contract to end of our Summer Term 2026.
The candidate will ideally have Early Years’ experience and be an enthusiastic and engaging professional. Working alongside the Lead Nursery Practitioner and within the Nursery team the candidate will care for the daily needs of the children.
Responsibilities include observing children, leading activities and contributing to team planning in accordance with the EYFS. The successful candidate will be responsible for a small group of Key Children, and will maintain all records and keep up to date observations linked to the EYFS. They will work closely with all other members of the team, to provide an outstanding learning environment and liaise and build strong links with parents.
A secure understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) is desirable for this role, and while a full and relevant Level 3 early years qualification is highly desirable, it is not mandatory. The successful candidate will thrive in a fun, positive and fast-paced team environment, and will enjoy delivering high-quality learning experiences in our extensive outdoor spaces, including our forest school provision.
