PERIPATETIC SINGING TEACHER

Term Time Only, Permanent, Part-Time 

An opportunity has arisen for a confident, talented and enthusiastic singing teacher to join the Peripatetic team at Hazlegrove Preparatory School.

Excellent communication skills are required as well as patience and a sense of humour. Experience in teaching pop and contemporary, as well as classical music, would be an advantage.   

The role is required initially to teach 1.5 to 2 days a week. Specific days/hours to be discussed at interview.

This is a permanent, part-time, term time only role starting in September 2024.

PRE-PREP TEACHER (MATERNITY COVER)

Term Time Only, Temporary, Full-Time from September 2024

Are you a kind, enthusiastic, reflective teacher who strives to give children the best possible education, and values this magical stage of child development?  Then we would love to hear from you!

Due to an increase in pupil numbers and a member of our teaching team going on maternity leave, we are looking to appoint a passionate teacher to join us in the Pre-Prep from September 2024, in either Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 depending on strengths and experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher with recent experience of working in EYFS or Key Stage 1.  The successful candidate will be an organised, warm, and innovative teacher who engages children in their learning, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential through a creative curriculum. You will be joining a friendly, supportive, and dedicated team and will therefore need to be a hard-working team-player with high expectations and a good sense of humour. 

The position is a temporary, full-time maternity cover position, It will also involve playtime, lunchtime, early stay and after school care duties.

Hazlegrove is a thriving Co-Educational Day and Boarding Prep School in the South-West of England. Pupil roll is 380 with 68 full boarders. Based around an 18th century house and set in 200 acres of parkland, the school enjoys outstanding facilities. Around 25 staff live on site. 

The ISI Inspection Report (September 2023) judged the school to be excellent in all areas.

The school is committed to continued improvement, to outstanding teaching and to a structured and supportive environment with the belief that learning is best achieved when pupils feel understood, happy, and safe.

YEAR 4 CLASS TEACHER (MATERNITY COVER)

Term Time Only, Temporary, Full-Time from September 2024

Hazlegrove is looking to appoint an energetic committed KS2 Teacher who would teach a Year 4 class a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, RE, Outdoor Education and PSHE. 

This is a temporary, full-time, term-time only role starting in September 2024
