An Unforgettable Leavers' Trip for Year 8

A week in Cornwall with 69 children was nothing short of unforgettable — full of sunshine, adventure, ice cream and laughter. The weather was gloriously hot, setting the tone for days spent by the sea, where calm waters made for perfect paddle boarding, gentle surfing and endless splashing about. One highlight was the sea safari, where excitement turned to awe as dolphins appeared alongside some of our boats, gliding through the sparkling water. Seals, puffins and even a sunfish were spotted too.

The children threw themselves into every activity, from daring coasteering leaps off rugged cliffs to fun‑filled SUP sessions and some very competitive rounds of crazy golf in the blazing heat. Evenings brought a different kind of magic, with stunning Cornish sunsets painting the sky—until one night, when an unforgettable electrical storm lit up the horizon in dramatic fashion.

With hearty cooked breakfasts each morning and brilliant company throughout, the trip was a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation and shared joy — leaving everyone with incredible memories of a truly special week in Cornwall.
