Splashing and Laughing Nursery Children
With the heatwave in full swing, we embraced every opportunity to keep the children cool and engaged. The paddling pool has been a firm favourite, with lots of splashing, laughter and smiles all around. The children also loved our ice exploration activities—discovering how ice melts, feeling the cold textures, and experimenting with ways to free hidden flowers trapped inside.
We have seen some wonderful role play inspired by the hot weather! Some of the children have been on a long car journey complaining of being hot in the car, so they stopped for ice cream and stopped to give each animal they saw some water! Thoughtful and caring as ever, even in their role play.
The Nursery children have received their end of year prizes this week to celebrate their successes and development this year. Congratulations to them all; we could not be prouder of your children - their confidence and pride on receiving their books from Mr Benbow was just gorgeous to see.
