EAL Tea Party a Wonderful Success!
Rain? What Rain? Not even the wettest weather could dampen the spirits of today's EAL Tea Party! While the rain may have forced a last-minute change of plans, it certainly didn't stop the fun. Our new venue, the Library, proved to be the perfect setting for a break time filled with laughter, conversation and plenty of delicious treats.
Before the guests arrived, 14 enthusiastic pupils worked hard to transform the Library into a welcoming tea party venue. Tables were arranged, games were set out and everything was made ready for our special visitors.
Once the teachers arrived, the pupils stepped into their roles as excellent hosts. They greeted guests, poured drinks and made sure everyone was well supplied with food. A huge thank you must go to Mr Sebastian and his team for providing an incredible spread of sandwiches and a selection of delicious cakes that disappeared remarkably quickly!
The tea party was packed with entertainment as pupils challenged their guests to a variety of games they have been practising throughout the year. While we cannot officially confirm the results, there is a strong suspicion that the pupils may have had the upper hand!
After all the excitement, the pupils continued to impress by helping to tidy everything away. Their teamwork and willingness to help ensured the Library was soon back to normal was greatly appreciated.
The EAL Tea Party was a lovely event that brought pupils and staff together for a moment of friendship, games and laughter. It was made truly special by the enthusiasm, kindness and excellent hosting skills of our pupils, as well as the support of all our guests. Despite the rain, it was a party to remember!
