Year 2 Show Curiosity and Enthusiasm for Learning
It has been another busy and enjoyable week in classroom! In English, we have been exploring The Twits by Roald Dahl. The children have loved discovering the mischievous tricks played by Mr and Mrs Twit and have been using their imaginations to describe the characters and events in the story.
We were very lucky to take part in a fantastic workshop with Mr Stok, where we learned all about seaside holidays in the past. The children were fascinated to see how things have changed over time and enjoyed looking at old photographs and artefacts.
We also spent time being creative in Art, using watercolours to paint our own seaside pictures. The children worked beautifully, carefully blending colours to create lovely beach scenes inspired by what we have learned.
It has been a wonderful week filled with creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. Well done to everyone for their hard work!
