The children have been buzzing with excitement as they rehearse for their upcoming Year 1 and 2 showcase, which they are very much looking forward to performing. Rehearsals have been full of enthusiasm and confidence, with the children showing great focus as they practise their lines, movements, and expressions.

In Literacy, we have been enjoying the story, The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl. The children have been busy inventing their own nasty tricks, carefully bringing their ideas to life in writing. A particular focus has been on using speech marks correctly and choosing “wow words” to make their writing more vivid and engaging. The children have shown great creativity and are becoming increasingly confident at adding detail and expression to their work.

It has been wonderful to see their excitement, imagination, and pride in what they are creating.
