This week in Pre School, the children have been learning all about the letter “O”. As part of this, they had great fun squeezing their own fresh orange juice, which they thoroughly enjoyed drinking with their snack.

The children have also been busy making toffee cupcakes after listening to the story of how Moon-Face in The Faraway Tree enjoys eating toffee. Together, the children found a recipe in one of our class cookbooks and created a shopping list of all the ingredients they would need. They then carefully weighed, mixed and baked the ingredients to make their delicious cakes.
