In social science, we have turned our classrooms into mini newsrooms with year 7 and 8 creating their own ‘Good News Feed’. This means researching, writing, verifying and editing news stories (whilst aiming for a positive spin!). This week the budding journalists have been working on a brilliantly wide range of stories ready to put up around school. We have everything from displays of kindness and superhuman speed in the marathon, to what’s happening in the Strait of Hormuz, to the diplomatic role of giant pandas in politics!
