Ski Trip Les Orres Easter 2026
48 pupils and teachers boarded the coach at the start of the holidays for what we hoped would be a super week ahead with the mountains as our back drop. We awoke each day to stunning blue skies, bright sunshine and crisp, cold mornings that delivered perfect snow conditions throughout the week. From the outset pupils impressed staff and instructors alike with their enthusiasm and eagerness to get the most from their ski instruction, making it a pleasure both on and off the slopes.
Under expert ESF instruction, the children made fantastic progress in their skiing. Many advanced confidently from snowplough to parallel turns, some tackled jumps and moguls with flair, determination and growing confidence. The 'off piste' activities enhanced the week which included the Speedline, where pupils thrilled across a zip wire 2km across the mountain skyline and the go-kart style luge where pupils reached top speeds of 30 km/h, both activities were met with an equal measure of screams and squeals.
Evenings were just as memorable, with a packed programme of activities including quiz and games night, bum boarding, shopping, a town trail, karaoke and dancing. Fun was had by all, and the strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie was evident throughout the trip.
Overall, it was a wonderful week enjoyed by both pupils and staff alike. The children were a credit to the school, and it was an absolute pleasure to lead such a successful and memorable trip. Please find all of the trip photos on the Parent Portal.
We are already looking ahead with enthusiasm to organising our next ski trip for Easter 2028.
