Year 2 Enjoy Easter Egg Hunt
Coming to the end of a busy spring term, everyone has been full of excitement with the Easter holidays just around the corner. The warmer days and signs of spring appearing around the grounds have given us plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and learn outdoors.
One of the highlights has been during our English lesson, sparked by a very unexpected letter from Rumpelstiltskin all the way from India! His rather nasty message certainly caused some surprise, but the children rose brilliantly to the challenge. They planned, drafted, and wrote thoughtful (and sometimes very firm!) replies, showing wonderful imagination, resilience, and a clear sense of right and wrong. Their writing has been expressive, confident, and full of personality, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts.
As we head into the holidays, we hope all our families enjoy a restful and sunny Easter break. We look forward to welcoming the children back for an exciting summer term ahead.
