Reception Create Farm Animal Eggs
It has been an egg-straordinarily egg-citing week in Reception! The children have been eagerly watching their beanstalks growing (although some are taking more encouragement than others to pop through the surface of the soil!) and updating their bean diaries.
On Monday, the children had a great time back in the pool , developing their skills and confidence, with lots of splashing. On Wednesday, we had our Eggstravaganza morning where the children made amazing farm animals from hard boiled eggs. Joel Baker, our Head of Art, had the unenviable task of judging each class's eggs and awarding the winners with chocolate eggs of their own.
We have also crafted Easter crowns and learnt about the Easter story from Rev Bev who visited us on Tuesday and through class activities centred around this celebration of 'New Life'
It is hard to believe we are at the end of the Spring term. We wish you all a lovely Easter holiday and look forward to welcoming you back for the Summer.
