Nursery have had a super week, really enjoying the story Dear Zoo. We have shared the story lots of times and can join in with the repeated refrains along with some Makaton actions we have been learning. Lots of children have taken part in games of Dear Zoo bingo where we have been listening carefully for the animals from the story and enjoying shouting “bingo!” when we won. 

Everyone has had a lovely time being very creative when painting cards and gifts for our Mummies, it has been really special hearing about why everyone loves their Mummy so much. 

Outside, we have been showing our resilience when using different wheeled toys, which some of us found a little tricky to start with. Over the week, we have been able to take turns and share the toys with our friends. 

We have done lots singing this week and had lots of fun using the resources to support our songs- chicken hats, hand toys, star wands and spiders have been popular. We have done some wonderful dancing during ballet- super listening to Miss Eloise along with toes in the toaster, bike-riding and swimming under the sea.
