Boarders Enjoy a Trip to Ham Hill
The weekend was full of fresh air, fun, and a little friendly mischief!
Sunday began with a more relaxed start for our Year 8 boarders. They enjoyed a chilled morning at home before heading out for some exciting go-karting. Afterwards, they gathered around a fire to toast marshmallows, the perfect way to warm up and unwind together.
Meanwhile, the rest of the boarders headed to Ham Hill, where they had great fun running up and down the hills, exploring, and enjoying the fresh countryside air.
Back at school in the afternoon, the boarders launched a mischievous new challenge: 200 mini ducks have been hidden around the grounds, kicking off a competition for the teachers to find them during the coming week. The teacher who discovers the most ducks will win a huge chocolate bar as a reward for their efforts!
The rest of the afternoon offered something for everyone, quiet reading, letter writing, hockey, scooters and bikes, crafts, exploring in the woods, and plenty of board games.
The day finished with a huge game of Capture the Flag, bringing everyone together for a lively and energetic finale.
After such a busy and joyful day, it’s safe to say everyone will sleep very well tonight!
