Year 2 Wear Fantastic Costumes for World Book Day
As we step into March, we are thrilled to welcome the first signs of Spring—longer days, brighter mornings, and those wonderful moments when we can finally enjoy playing outside in the sunshine again! The children have loved having more time outdoors, exploring, running, and making the most of the dry weather.
This week we celebrated World Book Day, and what a fantastic day it was! We had a wonderful selection of activities connected to the books of Roald Dahl, that really brought stories to life. From imaginative potion making to creative crafts and shared reading sessions, the children were buzzing with excitement and enthusiasm. Their costumes, curiosity, and love of books made the day truly special.
Whether inside the classroom or out in the spring sunshine, the children have shown great focus, teamwork, and eagerness to learn. It has been wonderful to see them challenge themselves and grow in confidence.
