Welcome to the Pre-School Pony Club

The Pre-School Pony Club had their very first outing today out in the sunshine. The well-behaved ponies trotted over to the gym ready for PE. On their return, the ponies were carefully returned to their stables, and the children gave them some well-deserved carrots. Well done to all the Pre School jockeys for keeping their ponies under control through the grounds!

We have been learning all about positional language as part of a numeracy lesson this week. We created a little pond and the children each had a frog which they placed into different positions around the pond, placing them on top of the logs, under the rocks, next to the plant, behind and in front of the log. The children have also created some beautiful lily flowers which, as part of a STEM project, will open up and

bloom when placed into the pond. Feeling a little more like Spring has arrived this week the children have all painted some beautiful still life paintings of daffodils to display in the classroom.
