Boarders Enjoy a Super Bowl Celebration

The boarders enjoyed a relaxed and action-packed Sunday themed around Super Bowl LX, bringing a fun American twist to life at school.

The day began in the best possible way with a delicious, full-on breakfast. The boarders tucked into bacon, sausages, mushrooms and hash browns, setting everyone up perfectly for the day ahead. After breakfast and a calm letter-writing session, the children were ready to dive into a wide range of exciting activities.

Throughout the morning and afternoon, the boarders could choose from several creative and sporty options. Some enjoyed making their own American football helmets, while others got busy baking NFL-themed red velvet cupcakes. In the sports hall, there was plenty of energy with basketball and squash sessions, giving everyone a chance to stay active.

One of the highlights of the day was the NFL water game in the swimming pool, featuring an enthusiastic Seahawks vs Patriots showdown, alongside a hugely popular and energetic Nerf war. Despite the wet weather outside, spirits remained high and it certainly didn’t spoil the fun.

The day ended in a wonderfully relaxed way with a film night, followed by chapel and, as always, a traditional Sunday roast supper. It was a super-chilled, enjoyable day spent together around the school, full of laughter, teamwork and memorable moments.

Overall, it was a fantastic weekend for our boarders, combining creativity, sport and community spirit. A true Super Bowl celebration.
