Year 7 Enjoy a Science Lesson on Metal Reactivity

Year 7 have been busy in the science lab learning about the reactivity of metals. As part of their investigation, pupils compared how quickly different metals react with water and acids.

The class tested calcium, magnesium and zinc, and discovered that calcium was the most reactive of the three, producing bubbles at an impressive rate during the reaction! Magnesium came in second place, followed by zinc.
