Boarders Enjoy Christmas Feast

What a fabulous weekend it has been for Hazlegrove boarders! After a magical evening at the boarders’ feast and ceilidh dancing, Sunday began with the usual delicious full-cooked breakfast before a huge range of activities. First, Christingles were made in preparation for the final Chapel of the term. Following this, activity options included laser tag, swimming, Christmas cooking, crafts, as well as a visit from Bug-Fest, during which boarders were able to hold a range of stick insects and learn about scorpions and all things bug! The Year 8 girls loved their traditional Christmas shopping morning in Yeovil, followed by a lively exchange of Secret Santa gifts.

The afternoon involved packing, tidying and some chilled-out film watching, rounding off with a special and reflective Christingle service with Rev Bev. All in all, a wonderful final weekend of the term for the Hazlegrove boarding community.
