We have had a wonderful week in Reception full of exciting experiences! Our visit to the Abbey was a real highlight; the children were fascinated by the beautiful architecture and loved exploring the peaceful surroundings. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn and have fun together.

Back in the classroom, we’ve been busy practising for our Nativity. The children are growing in confidence every day and are now singing all the songs with great enthusiasm! We can’t wait to share their hard work with you soon.

We’ve also enjoyed the frosty weather this week. The children loved observing the sparkling frost on the playground and talking about how the seasons change. It has been a great way to link our outdoor experiences to our learning.

Festive Friday was amazing! The children showed incredible energy and enthusiasm whilst running laps of the sports field and they all enjoyed our Christmas fayre at the end of the day. We are looking forward to more festive activities next week!
