The excitement is mounting in Pre-School in anticipation of the Nativity. The children have all been very busy rehearsing their lines and Christmas carols. The manger has arrived, and costumes are ready for the big day. 

The children have been listening to lots of wonderful stories about the Nativity and are really looking forward to meeting the Angel Gabriel next week. 

We have also been busy with making decorations, and the classroom certainly had a lovely Christmassy smell at the beginning of the week when the children were busy stirring and chopping up all the ingredients for their very own Christmas cakes ready to decorate in the next couple of weeks.
