Recently, Year 6 have been investigating development indicators and what they reveal about different countries. The class focused on four key measures: life expectancy, adult literacy, infant mortality and GDP per capita. Pupils also evaluated a range of other indicators and debated their effectiveness. As part of their learning, they began defining these terms and considering how each one contributes to understanding global development.
