Boarders Attend Remembrance Parade

Sunday 9 November Boarders made their way to Bruton, looking incredibly smart in their blazers, for the Remembrance parade and short service outside the church. The atmosphere during the service was very poignant, and Penelope and Edward laid the wreath on behalf of the Hazlegrove community. It was very special to feel part of the wider local community and to show respect on Remembrance Sunday.

The afternoon could not have been more different. We went to Hollywood Bowl in Yeovil and spent an exciting and competitive few hours on the bowling alleys and in the arcade. Mr Bartlett was the one to beat but, although some came close, no one could quite reach the dizzy heights of his score. Tickets galore were won in the arcade and exchanged for an array of prizes, so after the lights, sounds and excitement of the afternoon, we returned to school for some letter writing and downtime before a wonderful roast dinner.
