On Tuesday, 15 of our Hazlegrove musicians, accompanied by Mrs Sclater and Miss Sanger, enjoyed a wonderful day at Sherborne Boys’ School and Sherborne Girls’ School. Hosted by Sherborne’s Director of Music, Alexander Eadon, and supported by staff from both schools, our pupils joined other young musicians from Sherborne Prep, Farleigh, and Hanford to rehearse a selection of inspiring pieces as a joint orchestra.

Sight-reading skills were honed during the morning session at Sherborne Boys’ School, followed by a delicious lunch. The group then moved to Sherborne Girls’ School to continue rehearsals and perform their “concert in a day” to a very supportive audience.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our pupils throughout the day. It was a memorable occasion for all involved.
