The EAL department is delighted to welcome all our new pupils this term. We are so pleased to see how well everyone has settled into school life. It has been wonderful to watch you make new friends, join in with lessons, and share your ideas with confidence.

Now that the first few weeks are behind us, we are beginning to build on your progress in English. Our current focus is refining your use of the past tense, helping you to talk and write about events with greater accuracy. We are also exploring idioms, those colourful expressions that make English fun and lively, like “a piece of cake” or “raining cats and dogs.”

We are very proud of the hard work you have already shown. Keep practising, keep asking questions, and remember: every day is another step forward on your learning journey.
