Year 6 French Trip 2025
Year 6 had a wonderful time in Normandy. Despite a rather bumpy crossing last Monday, the sun shone on us for the rest of the week, and the children threw themselves into each activity with great enthusiasm. From boules to bread-making, from town trails to snail tasting, the children relished the French culture and immersion into the language.
We visited Avranches, Mont St Michel and St Malo, as well as a local market in Pontorson and were warmly welcomed by our new pen-pals in a local school. It was lovely to see the children trying hard to communicate with their new friends, and we are very excited to start writing to them this year. Well done Year 6!
