Pre-School this week have been learning about the life cycle of the apple and all the different varieties through our story, ‘ The Very Helpful Hedgehog’.

Baskets at the ready, we headed off on a very sunny morning around the grounds to collect apples. The children then spent a morning chopping, mixing and putting together their very own delicious apple and blackberry crumbles.

We have also been busy playing in our farm shop, sewing apples, and in numeracy learning about repeating patterns.
