Boarders Trip to Flip Out
After the first full week of the Autumn term, the children headed to Flip Out in Wellington — although the day began in a much more peaceful way. A full cooked English breakfast awaited the children and staff, which is always much anticipated. Mr Atkinson then showed the very important safety video before we headed down the road to Wellington. A bit of monument spotting took place in the minibuses before we arrived.
Everyone received brand-new bright green sticky socks, ready to explore a collection of trampolines, foam pits, and a ninja warrior course. Laser tag was a firm favourite, and everyone had a brilliant time — including the staff! On the way back, the rain poured, but it didn’t dampen the great time everyone had enjoyed.
Back at school, Rev Bev treated us to another amazing chapel, where we all took something meaningful away. The children then had some free time and a final chance to pack, as many of them are off on their residential trips this week.
It was a wonderful weekend.
