Our Newly Refurbished Library
A Heartfelt Thank You to The Friends of Hazlegrove
We are absolutely delighted to share that our newly refurbished school library has come to life over the summer holidays — and it’s more beautiful than we could have imagined. One of the most special moments was uncovering the original fireplace, adding a touch of history and charm to the space.
This transformation would not have been possible without the incredible generosity and support of our wonderful local community, especially The Friends of Hazlegrove. Thanks to the fundraising efforts at the Summer Ball with the charity auction last term, we now have a calming, light-filled space that will not only inspire a love of reading but also supply a space for pupils to relax and come together for lessons for years to come.
Mrs Pain a parent and previous Chair of the Friends of Hazlegrove:
“We are over the moon to see the newly refurbished school library and the beautiful fireplace! This has only been possible thanks to the kindness and generosity of our wonderful local community at the charity auction last term, and we are so grateful for everyone’s support. It is such a calming, light-filled space for lessons and quiet time alike, and we have no doubt our children will discover the joy of reading here for many years to come.”
From cosy reading corners to shelves filled with exciting new books, the library is already proving to be a favourite spot for pupils and staff alike. Our thanks to everyone who contributed — your kindness has made a lasting impact on the school community.
