The first days of school arrived this week and the children hurried beneath umbrellas and raincoats, dodging puddles as they made their way to their classrooms and the usual excitement of a new school year was very much in the air. Inside, the classrooms quickly filled with warmth, chatter and a sense of anticipation. Raindrops tapped gently on the windows as Mrs Davison and Mrs Millard welcomed the Year 2 children, and the rhythm of the rain became a quiet backdrop to fresh ideas, renewed friendships, and the beginning of another year of learning.
