Miss de la Poer would like to congratulate all the Speech & Drama children who achieved outstanding LAMDA results! 110 children took examinations involving performance and questions.  Many achieved high distinctions, reaching top marks of 97% and the remainder were all Merits. 

Passes are awarded for 50%+, Merits for 65%+ and Distinctions for 80%+.

All results have been achieved through considerable effort and hard work, and all the children deserve these amazing results.

Year 8 children took Grade 4 and 5 examinations and some Year 8 who took acting exams used their drama scholarship pieces which confirms the high standard held at Hazlegrove school.

Duo and solo LAMDA examinations at Grade 4 and 5 are the same ability level as a GCSE (A*-C) under the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).  Year 8's have therefore done extremely well.

We had lots of support from parents and staff to help the children learn lines so a big thank you to all!
