Phew! It has been a busy week for us in Reception!  On Wednesday, the children were sporting superstars as they showed us their incredible skills during our Sports day. Whether throwing, catching, running or balancing, they approached every activity with enthusiasm, resilience and superb effort. We could not be prouder of them. 

The excitement continued on Thursday for 'Move Up afternoon' where the children were thrilled to spend time with Mrs Jenkins and Mrs Manchorova, taking part in Year 1 activities and learning about what they have in store for September.

In our literacy we have read the beautiful story of Hunwick's Egg. It tells the tale of an Australian Bilby who finds a very special egg and they become best of friends. It reflects our values of kindness and generosity, and the children have thought about all of the ways they show kindness to their friends.
