Reception Enjoy Pony Rides
‘All Creatures Great and Small’ was definitely our theme this week with visits from ponies, watching fast growing caterpillars and feeding lambs! The children had a fantastic time riding the ponies and finding out all about pony care, diet and how to stay safe around horses and they loved watching the lamb's wiggly tails as they enjoyed their milk.
In other news, we have released our tadpoles and froglets back into Miss Dunnet's pond, it has been incredible for the children to witness this amazing life cycle up close. Our sunflowers are growing fast, and our potatoes are doing well. The children have also planted some bee friendly wildflowers in our outside area and we are hoping for some overnight rain to help them get started!
It is hard to believe we are moving into our last half of term, and we cannot wait to take our learning across the world to Australia in the coming weeks! Wishing you all a sunny and restful half term break.
