Boarders Enjoy a Day at Splashdown

Our boarders had a fantastic day out at Splashdown Waterpark, where they tackled a variety of exciting rides – from twisting tunnel flumes to fast-paced drops and group raft adventures. Laughter echoed through the park as pupils made the most of the thrills on offer. Highlights included the adrenaline-pumping Screamer, a near-vertical plunge, not for the faint-hearted, and the ever-popular Mississippi Drifter, a gentler ride perfect for sharing with friends on inflatable rings.

After a fun-filled few hours, the boarders enjoyed a relaxed picnic lunch in the sunshine, which was a lovely opportunity to refuel, chat about their favourite rides, and spend time together before the drive back to school. Back at Hazlegrove, the fun continued with free time on the school fields. Whether it was football, rounders, or simply relaxing in the sunshine, it was a great way to wind down.

The day ended with a peaceful and reflective chapel service with Rev Bev. Overall, it was a fantastic day enjoyed by all.
