As the band Queen said, “I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride it where I like!”. That was definitely the way the children felt this week during their Safari Simbaz ride on their scooters and bicycles. The children all did magnificently and really enjoyed their cycling event. That is not the only excitement this week we have also met a rather nasty character in the form of the Enormous Crocodile. His clever tricks were very ingenious, but his inflated ego was a lesson to us all. The characters in the story have inspired us to use our creative writing skills to develop character profiles and adventurous story maps. Towards the end of the week, the children celebrated VE day, dressed in red, white and blue they were able to enjoy a range of wonderful activities from biscuit decorating to natural wreath making. It was a day to remember!
