Boarders Easter Weekend 2025
What a wonderful way to spend the last weekend of term – enjoying a huge range of activities with friends! Sunday started in the usual fashion with a delicious cooked breakfast to get everyone energised for a House-based Easter egg hunt. 400 eggs were hidden around the Lower and Middle school area, and the challenge was set to find three eggs each, splitting up pairs at a time to find the coloured eggs. Dover House found the most eggs, but all houses had around 100 to share out and enjoy between them.
After that, it was time for either Mother’s Day card making, laser tag, bonfire and s’mores making, swimming, go-karts, den building, and woodland games!
The afternoon offered further challenges with the go-kart race, with two-lap times being recorded to break morning records, capture the flag, fun on bikes, hockey, football, or fashion designing.
Naturally, one of the highlights of the day was the visiting ice-cream van followed by movies – the perfect way to end a busy, fun-packed final weekend of the term! Well done to all the boarders who, despite being tired at the end of a busy term, were considerate and thoughtful of each other and ended the Spring term on a high.
