Freedom! The Power of Song
Last Saturday evening, audiences were treated to a mesmerising performance of Alexander L’Estrange and Joanna Forbes L’Estrange’s “Way of Water” at Wells Cathedral. The event saw young children from schools in and around Glastonbury join forces with experienced and professional singers, creating an unforgettable experience in the stunning cathedral setting.
The excitement continues to build as we look forward to our own upcoming performance of the L’Estranges' work “Freedom! The Power of Song” in collaboration with King’s Bruton on Sunday, 16th March. This event will feature Year 5 children from Hazlegrove School, who will represent our school in this Bruton community collaboration.
The music promises to be absolutely fabulous, and this is an opportunity not to be missed. We eagerly anticipate seeing our young performers shine in what is sure to be a remarkable and inspiring event.
