Boarders Enjoy a Busy Weekend
Our Sunday began with a delicious cooked breakfast; as always, a huge thank you goes out to the hardworking kitchen staff for their tasty creations. After breakfast, we spent some time writing heartfelt letters to our families, sharing our experiences, and catching up with loved ones.
The morning continued with a variety of activities. Mrs Wells-Burr hosted a creative Cards and Crafts session, where we made beautiful Valentine’s cards. Meanwhile, Mr Atkinson organised an exciting Remote Control Car Grand Prix, and Mrs Fischer oversaw a competitive Badminton Tournament. The tournament featured 12 doubles teams and culminated in an intense final between Archie T and Wilf W and Nico M and Carlos I. It was a thrilling finish, with Archie and Wilf emerging as the victorious team!
For lunch, we enjoyed a yummy meal of ham, egg, and chips, with the crumble and custard pudding being particularly popular! The afternoon began with some quiet time and reading, allowing us to relax and recharge. Later, we ventured back outside for a variety of activities, including hockey, netball, swimming, nerf wars, and bike adventures. Many of us also enjoyed watching the very exciting rugby game between Scotland and Ireland – what a game!
Our weekend concluded with some reflection at Chapel, followed by a delicious roast dinner. We ended the day feeling content and ready for the last week of school before half term.
