Hazlegrove Boarders Head to Ham Hill
A boarding trip to Ham Hill was exactly what we needed to kick off the weekend. Bundled up against the crisp morning air, we set off, eager for the day ahead. The hill, with its rolling views and ancient earthworks, was a playground waiting to be explored. We played team games on the grassy slopes, slipping and sliding in the mud. A brisk walk took us through the wooded trails, where we climbed trees and conquered the terrain like adventurers. By the time we made our way back to school, our boots were caked in mud, and our spirits were soaring.
Lunch was a welcome respite, giving us a chance to refuel and share tales from the morning’s antics. Afterwards, we enjoyed some downtime, relaxing before diving into an afternoon packed with activities. The options were endless—some took to the pool for swimming, while others explored IT or Design Technology projects. Football enthusiasts dashed onto the pitch, braving the winter chill once more. As the day wound down, we retreated to our houses for a cosy afternoon of movies. With popcorn in hand and hot chocolate warming our fingers, we snuggled into blankets and let the films transport us.
