Upper School Charity Cake Sale

On Tuesday morning 8S spent the morning baking for the Charity Cake Sale.

The school kitchens were a hive of activity, and it was great to see the class pull together to produce some superb cakes and biscuits.  They worked with both pride and purpose, and I was very impressed with the teamwork and organisational skills on show.  By lunchtime they had baked, decorated and sliced brownies, cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies and crispy cakes – all looking very tempting.  At school pick up time, they sold their bakes to raise over £120 for this very worthy cause – Macmillan Cancer Care.
