Year 2 Embark on a New Topic
As the half term draws to a close so does our amazing topic about the Great Fire of London.
The children have gained so much from learning about this event and have enjoyed their delve into the events that happened that historical week. They enthusiastically shared the information, as Miss Strugnell found out when she was talking to the children this week.
We have left England for our new topic and ventured to the sunnier climate of India. The children have been using atlases to search for India and find out some interesting facts. These have been very varied, from using the husk of a coconut to make matting to India having the only floating post office - who knew!
We hope you all have a restful half term break and return for the fun of the next term!
