A Wonderful Start to the New Term in Music
It's business as usual in the Music Department this term! Mrs Sclater, our Head of Music comments on the start of an exciting new term at Hazlegrove:
'We have been thrilled to get 'back to normal' in our Music Department at the start of term. Lessons are back in the Music Classroom, which has been beautifully redecorated and reorganised, with a fantastic reminder of last year’s production of Seussical on the walls. Choirs are in full swing, with energetic first rehearsals in Hazlegrove Voices, Girls’ Vocal Group, Dolphin Choir and Year 5 and 6 choirs. We are expecting even greater numbers next week!
Ensembles are starting up again, and it is wonderful to see children from all year groups playing together, after such a long time. Please look out for our first big concert of the year – The Joint Concert with KSB on Thursday 14th October. We are looking forward to showing what we can achieve in the first few weeks of the new school year!'
