Two fabulous Spring Concerts
One of the highlights of the Hazlegrove calendar is undoubtedly the Spring Concert and this year we were treated to two fabulous performances from our very talented musicians.
The theatre was packed on both nights and the children rose superbly to the occasion. Over the two performances (which differed slightly to allow everyone their turn in the spotlight) we were treated to a wide variety of delights. These included the Year 3 & 4 Dolphin Choir singing Hakuna Matata, the Boys’ Vocal Group singing California Dreamin’, the James Bond theme from the Percussion Ensemble, Ain’t Misbehavin’ from the Swing Band, the Prince of Denmark’s March from the Senior Brass group and I Believe I Can Fly from the Chamber Choir to mention just a few. Both evenings were rounded off wonderfully with a full orchestra performance of Star Wars which the children clearly enjoyed!
A huge thank you to our Director of Music, Mrs Fawbert, and her great team of music staff for all the support and help they have given to the children and for two fantastic concerts.
