Friday Concert Triumph
Last Friday’s Concert was another triumph for Hazlegrove musicians.
There was an impressive spread of abilities and styles, from Louis P and Mr Roger’s performance of Eye of the Tiger on guitars to Griffin H’s hugely enjoyable Peace Song, sung in front of an audience for the first time. Pianists were in abundance, and the improvement of all over the past term and a half was clear to see. As always, we were so proud of the children’s efforts.
Perhaps our most memorable inclusion was the Year 6 Rock and Pop Band, who left us all smiling after their performance of High Hopes. It was quite clearly a formative experience for the band, who not only showed a wonderful energy and enthusiasm throughout, but managed to get the entire audience clapping along. Watch this space!
