‘I am very excited to announce that we now have a DJ teacher at Hazlegrove! DJing is one of the fastest-growing areas of music, with opportunities for learning this particular skill now offered in many senior schools.
This Spring, Year 8s have been invited to attend a new DJ club and from September, the club will be opened up to include Years 6 and 7 in addition to which, we will be offering DJ lessons on a one-to-one basis. DJing helps children to hone their aural skills, with a focus on blending sounds and developing a meticulous awareness of rhythm and beat’.
