What a wonderful concert we were treated to on Friday here at Hazlegrove. We hosted the Joint Choral Concert this year which was a tremendous success.
The King’s Choirs including the Chapel and Chamber Choirs came to sing with our Year 5 pupils and Hazlegrove Voices. For the first time ever children as young as seven were taking part in the concert and the quality of singing overall was something all the children can be extremely proud of.
The Joint Choral pieces opened and closed the concert with the Year 5s singing their eight and a half minute long piece by Alexander L’Estrange as a massed choir. The Girls’ Vocal Group sang beautifully and the concert ended with a stunning performance of Panis Angelicus sung by the Hazlegrove Voices and King’s Choir.
Congratulations to all for a wonderful evening of music making!
