Boarders Visit We the Curious Museum and Planetarium
Despite the cold weather over the weekend, Hazlegrove boarders had an illuminating trip to Bristol, and even across our galaxy, during our visit to the We the Curious museum and Planetarium. We had lunch in the café before heading into the UK’s only 360-degree digital 3D Planetarium!
The presenter talked us through the history of stars, showing us how they are born, live and eventually die. It was an exciting experience.
Afterwards, we explored the museum, which offered a huge variety of hands-on, interactive activities covering air and flight, food science, optics and sound, human biology, puzzles, robots, rainbows and even giant bubbles! Our time there flew by.
We then headed back to school for a snack and a movie, before Chapel and our usual Sunday roast. It was a brilliantly fun and inspirational trip, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
