Year 2 Children and Adults Teamed up to Make Highland Cows
We had a wonderful time welcoming parents into our open classroom this week. The children were so proud to share their books and recent work, showing off everything from their growing writing skills to their creative artwork. It was lovely to see families exploring the classroom together, chatting about what the children have been learning, and celebrating all their hard work and progress.
A highlight of the session was the hands‑on craft activity, where children and adults teamed up to make their very own Highland cow. With plenty of imagination, and a bit of glue, families created a whole herd of colourful, shaggy cows which were used in our Burns tea party celebrations. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a positive and memorable experience for the children.
