This week, Pre-School has been busy looking at numbers up to 10 and having a go at subitising within those numbers. The children have all made a snowflake by counting 10 beads and then threading them to make a decoration to hang in the classroom.

We have continued with our letter of the week, ‘T’. We have played Kim’s Game, I Spy and Silly Soup, all consolidating the letter with our cued articulation sign.

As our journey continues through the book Slow Down this week, we have been discovering how a mountain hare can camouflage itself in the snow to keep itself safe from predators. The children have painted some wonderful snowy scenes, adding their very own mountain hare.
