Traction Man is here (wearing combat boots, battle trousers and his super shirt)! The Reception children have absolutely loved our new story this week. They enjoyed a sensory journey into the depths of the washing‑up bowl as they searched for the Lost Wreck of the Sieve! Slimy spaghetti, potato peelings, baked beans and soggy broccoli all added to the experience, and we felt very sorry for Traction Man having to swim through this to escape the Poisonous Dishcloth. Luckily, he had his trusty sidekick, Scrubbing Brush, to help him. This adventure inspired us to design our very own disgusting sinks. The children had some fabulous ideas and were able to apply their sounds, labelling all of the items caught in their wreckage.

On Wednesday, we designed ‘super’ city landscapes using watercolours and collage. We have spoken about our dreams and goals at school, and we look forward to working towards achieving these in the coming weeks.
